Healthcare in Myanmar, previously known as Burma, is ranked amongst the lowest in the world by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The Burma Skincare Initiative (BSI), a UK registered charity, was founded with the vision of helping remove barriers to access to skincare in Myanmar by establishing active and sustainable links between Myanmar and international dermatology communities for mutual benefit.
