BSI Pave The Way For Global Health!

As President-Elect, CEMG introduced a Global Health theme to the ESDR. In collaboration with the BSI, two Myanmar dermatology trainees, Dr. Hlaing and Dr. Thu, were awarded the first ESDR Myanmar fellowships. This allowed them to attend the 49th Annual Meeting of the ESDR in Bordeaux, France, in September 2019.

This significant opportunity enabled Myanmar dermatology trainees to participate in an international dermatology meeting. They learned about the latest skin science from global experts and connected with colleagues worldwide. Thereafter, the two ESDR Myanmar fellows shared their experiences and knowledge with their dermatology teams at UM1 and UM2 in Myanmar. This helped spread insights gained from the international event to their local practices.
